We look forward to the start of another school year in Royal Oak, and the Foundation is proud to be a partner with Royal Oak Schools to bring support to the schools in many ways.  Below are some of the ways that we have provided support to Royal Oak Schools over the past 33 years and look forward to future projects and support to be provided in the future.

The Foundation has been very fortunate to be able to support the programs listed below

2024                     $5,000 Early Childhood Support of Learning Materials
2024                     $20,000 Support for the Physical Needs of students via the purchase of equipment for the weight room at                                   the High School. The equipment will be used by our student athletes and gym students.
2023                     $36,000 Recipient of one of the City of Royal Oak Community Grants for additional support of career/tech                                  Education programs
2022-2023           $25,000 Literacy Program for to purchase 1320 books for Royal Oak Middle School, Royal Oak High School                                    and Churchill Community Education Center
2021-2022           $25,000 Programs and activities related to social-emotional well-being and instruction.
2020-2021           $25,000 Literacy Project gifting each elementary school student books to read for pleasure.
2017-2019          $54,000 total - $6,000 grant per RO Public School for individual needs.
2015-2016          $25,000 to ROSPAC assisting RO High School’s Kimball Auditorium’s renovations.
2014-2015          $60,000 to the RO Middle School Dondero Auditorium for enhancements and
improvements. 
2010 – Present $7,500 annually to the Instrumental Music Jump Start program providing 5th-graders with experience in beginning Band & Orchestra. 
The ROSF financially supports several smaller initiatives such as: Royal Oak Hall of Fame, the Dan Champagne Scholarships, Senior All Night Party and the MLK Day of Service.
